We’d also like to thank our corporate sponsors Astron, HP, Net Registry and Silvertrak Digital who donated their money, talents and good faith to a project unknown. These companies are a wonderful example of corporate compassion and responsibility – where their skills and strengths can be used to help the wider community. Also thanks to our wonderful media sponsors News Ltd, Woman’s Day and brain tumour survivor 2GB’s Alan Jones, who have all helped get this community project off the ground. Thanks also to the Brain Tumour Alliance patient support group for helping to provide practical and useful information for patients with brain tumours. (www.btaa.org.au)
We’d especially like to thank all of the families who supported us on this project including Chantal Buttini (mum of Matilda, two) also being treated for leukemia.
A special thanks to Viv and Chris McGrath. Their little man Alex, 6, lost his battle with pulmonary hypertension the day before mother’s day this year. But despite their loss they always supported us in our journey to provide hope to other critically ill children. Alex loved rockets and thunderbirds, so little man Rocket Boy goes out to you.
Of course the biggest thanks goes to YOU! – because your donation DOES count, and the smallest deed is always better than the grandest good intention.
